An idea of best friend forever is bought into the lives especially by girls and every next individual thinks it is just a myth than a reality. It's just not possible to find a friend and to have her forever. Significantly, when it's about friendship among girls, this concept has morphed into a fantasy— forever together, the most caring and loving, never annoying and never apart. Stronger the bond, best BFFS they're. On the edge of the fast-paced lives of independent women, every single lady succumbs to find bestow buddy and seek attention. To be liked by everyone is a common characteristic of females today. Being the female of the species, I don't consider this trait wrong but surely something to grow with and to know with. Research published in 2010 has shown that girls who are more authentic with their friends, including being open and honest about their true feelings, have closer connections with their friends but at the same time if being socialized go awry, it makes them disastrous. At times they suffer in silence. Every woman should take a stand to build an empire of being girly. It's nothing wrong infect it would be a hand for those girls, who are suppressed on the name of being a girl, by some or the other family members. Girls who are not educated, girls who are not born or probably not allowed to, women who are losing their kids for reasons like her husband isn't making enough money to survive, or they are not asked what they actually want out of their lives.
All this should start from us, from our homes. This is the reason motivational speakers say to talk to your daughters, sisters or your wives or mothers about all girly feelings one is growing with. Every female should hold a female friend with whom she can open up her heart. It is essential to find an appeal with the same gender to relate your inner voice. It is important to have best friends in life. Friendship among women have always been so complex that it is hard to have.
Also in current times such relationships are termed as “feminists, feminism, women-centric”. When feminism is a fad and a formula, not a conviction, obviously it will churn out empty vessels such as Akira or stereotypes like Tanu in the Tanu Weds Manu flicks. I am not defining such a character here but about real, relatable women. They fight everyday battles, laugh and cry by turns, trip and fall as human beings often do and pick themselves up each time, all the while defying not just social strictures but constitutes as a “strong women”. There are women with agency, flaws, humanity and, above all, a sense of humour they often turn on themselves. One of the best specimen seen today is Amazon Prime series – “four more shots please!”

There are endless cases daily in front of our eyes where we see women giving up on their dreams and at some point in time they have lost themselves to an extent that of asked they might not have any dream left for themselves. Alternatively there are examples of self-sufficient women having compatible BFFS. Let’s make this point very clear by an answer to my question- “How many of you ladies have a best friend who’s still the same as she was earlier? Or a friend since years?”
I am pretty aware the majority of ladies would still be thinking about what sort of questions these are and that is because we are grown up in such a way. Women are raised where they're not allowed to be stubborn and sassy, where they are told to be polite every time, where they are told to bow down to every elder even though she is not respected in return, she is judged if she shares her tantrums her periods or her mood swings. Women are brought up in a culture where if she's found in lovemaking she is characterless, night outs are only for men. Women are not allowed to have sex before marriage even though they're growing up through puberty. Women are supposed to take every single responsibility even though she is going through her PMS. One of the known author Mrs Kajal Oza Vaidya have prominently said,
“Majority women are not fighting for themselves or to put their point, but they are found adjusting so that their husbands understand them well."
To all this I would just say, “Raise yourself, ladies. Hold hands and raise together. Rise to head high. Have BFFS to grow old together. Be someone's BFFS with the mentality of bringing them up and let's make sure that every single girl is so self-made that there is no chance of tiara falling down. Women are not known for their 'J' factors but they're known for their makeups. Hold hands of every woman by your side so that together we can shine."
